A house with a workshop on the ground floor on a narrow plot in Amsterdam. The simple orthogonal building fits into the low rise profile of the Sloterkade. Urban restrictions do not allow to exceed the building height of 7,5 meter. Central in the house is a void with staircase and elevator. Light penetrates deep into the house.
