A house and commercial space in a project called Buiksloterham on a former industrial site in Amsterdam Noord. The clients lived all their life in old buildings and were a little scared of the immaculate character of a completely new build house. Therefore we decided inside the house no to do any finishing and show all structural elements. This creates a special admosphere that lacks in most of the new build buildings and which is appriciated a lot by the new owners. The facade is cladded with Zwarthout Shou Sugi Ban.
