AAA Travel has an office in Houtbay, south of Capetown SA. The director of this small south african travel agency visited our design project for a travel agency called Baobab-reizen in Amsterdam and asked us to design his new office in Capetown. The AAA Travel site is on walking distance to the beach and the firm wanted a unconventional interior. We designed a large open space on several levels with a large central reception counter. This counter provides workspaces as well. Canteen and meeting rooms are located around the open working area. The floor is finished with rough timber floor boards and the walls are made of translucent wooden screens. Wall posters create places with a specific character and a certain mood.
